Ancient
Sacred Knowledge -Genesis And The Big Bang
In this report I am comparing different view points on the nature of God and the process of creating all-that-is.
Let us start by taking a look at the book of Genesis and see how it compares with the Big Bang and modern astrophysical cosmology.
Let us start by taking a look at the book of Genesis and see how it compares with the Big Bang and modern astrophysical cosmology.
"In
the beginning of Creation, when God made heaven and earth, the earth
was without form and void, with darkness over the face of the abyss,
and a mighty wind that swept over the surface of the waters, God
said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light..." [Genesis 1:
1-4]
Out
of No-Thing came a glowing ball of energy, compact and heavy beyond
comprehension. This ball held within itself all the enfolded
information that would forever fuel the unfolding Cosmos. This little
ball, virtually a particle small enough to be held in one's
hand, contained the enfolded information of all the worlds that would
bloom forth into cosmic reality.
"And
God saw that the light was good, and he separated light from
darkness..." [Genesis 1: 4-5] This primordial ball exploded or
unfolded simultaneously everywhere. Every particle rushed away from
every other particle. The explosion or expansion filled all space - a space that
curves back upon itself like the surface of a spherical torus.
Eventually
the frenzied particles calmed, dissolving into a great scattering, and
the Cosmos began to transfigure itself. It fashioned the galaxies.
These gigantic, self-organizing systems pinwheeled and clustered
across the outer mantle of the Universe.
Feeding
on helium and hydrogen, brilliant stars and planets were born. The
early planets bubbled forth as molten gaseous soups that cooled
into planetary crusts. Chemical creativity began to churn away. And
on one of the planets, the Earth, the first living cell arose about
four billion years ago.
"God
said, 'Let the waters teem with countless living creatures, and let
birds fly above the earth across the vault of heaven.'" [Genesis
1: 20]
Gathering
hydrogen from the oceans, releasing oxygen, these primal cells built
the land and the atmosphere of the Earth. In time multi cellular
organisms arose. They began as corals, became worms and insects and
fish. They wiggled and thrashed about in the sea and on the land. They
multiplied into many life forms. Experimenting, they discarded some
forms and built upon others. And about two hundred million years ago
mammals entered into the life of the Earth.
"Then
God said, 'Let us make man in our image and likeness...'"
[Genesis 1: 26] From these mammals came the first glimmers of
consciousness, a sense of emotional sensitivity and self-awareness.
In due time the human brain unfolded.
"So
it was; and God saw all that he had made, and it was very good..."
[Genesis 1: 31]

The
Serpent of Wisdom
I
believe the story of Adam & Eve is an allegory, that contains
many hidden truths. The sin of Eve, so the orthodox version of
Genesis tells us that she listened to the serpent, who persuaded her
that the fruit of the tree would make her and Adam wise, without any
deleterious side-effects. It was Eve who then seduced the righteously
reluctant Adam to join her in this act of disobedience, and thus
together they brought about the fall of humanity.
A
Gnostic treatise, The Testimony of Truth, tells a different story.
While repeating the words of the orthodox version of Genesis, the
Gnostic source states that "the serpent was wiser than all the
animals that were in Paradise." After extolling the wisdom of
the serpent, the treatise casts serious aspersions on the creator:
"What sort is he then, this God?" Then come some of the
answers to the rhetorical question.
The
motive of the creator in punishing Adam was envy, for the creator
envied Adam, who by eating the fruit would acquire knowledge
(gnosis). Neither did the creator seem quite omniscient when he
asked of Adam
"Where are you?" The creator has shown himself
repeatedly to be "an envious slanderer," a jealous God,
who inflicts cruel punishments on those who transgress his
capricious commandments. The treatise comments: "But these
are the things he said (and did) to those who believe in him and
serve him." The implication clearly presents itself, that
with a God like this, one needs no enemies.

Another
treatise, The Hypostasis of the Archons, informs us that not only was
Eve the emissary of the divine Sophia (feminine aspects of God ), but
the serpent was similarly inspired by the same supernal wisdom.
Sophia mystically entered the serpent, who thereby acquired the title
of instructor. The instructor then taught Adam and Eve about their
source, informing them that they were of high and holy origin and not
mere slaves of the creator deity.
What,
one may ask, motivated the Gnostic interpreters of Genesis to make
these unusual statements? Were they purely motivated by bitter
criticism directed against the God of Israel, as the Church Fathers
would have us believe? Many contemporary scholars do not think so.
These contemporary scholars suggest that the unfavorable image of the
creator contrasted with the favorable one of Adam, Eve, and even of
the serpent, alludes to an important issue not frequently recognized.
The
orthodox interpreters, both Jewish and Christian, tend to emphasize
the distinction between the infinite creator and his finite
creatures. Humans and animals are on earth, while God is in heaven,
and never the two will meet. The orthodox have held, with Martin
Buber, that the humans relationship to God is always "I and
Thou." In the Gnostic position one can discern a keynote that is
reminiscent of the attitude of certain other religions, notably
Hinduism, which rather declares: "I am Thou."
The
Gnostic's share with the Hindus and with certain Christian mystics the
notion that the divine essence is present deep within human nature in
addition to being present outside of it. At one time humans were part
of the divine, although later, in their manifest condition, they more
and more tended to project divinity onto beings external to
themselves. Alienation from God brings an increase in the worship of
deities wholly external to the human.
The
Gospel of Philip, another scripture from Nag Hammadi, expresses it
well: “In the beginning God created humans. Now, however, humans
are creating God. Such is the way of this world-humans invent gods
and worship their creations. It would be better for such gods to
worship humans.”

Throughout
human history, Earth has been visited by space aliens. Many reports
in the holy scriptures of different cultures have described Gods
descending from the heavens (sky) in celestial chariots to impart
knowledge to people who have been called prophets (Ezekiel and Moses
in the holy bible for instance)
Ezekiel relates seeing four living glowing creatures with four faces and four wings. “Their wings are attached to each other and they move as a unity. Below each waist is a series of wheels covered with eyes. Above them lies an ice-like expanse and above it is a sapphire-like throne and the likeness of a man, fiery with rainbows above it.” |
* Moses in the desert: “God led His people with a pillar of clouds during the day, and a pillar of fire at night. Following these incredible sights would remind them that God was always with them, guiding them each step of the way on their journey to the Promised Land.” |
* Indian Vedas: "The holy Indian Sages, the Ramayana for one, tell of "Two storied celestial chariots with many windows" "They roar off into the sky until they appear like comets." The Mahabharata and various Sanskrit books describe at length these chariots, "powered by winged lightning...it was a ship that soared into the air, flying to both the solar and stellar regions." |
* Mayan scriptures: The Feathered Serpent was a prominent supernatural entity or deity, found in many Mesoamerican religions. The Aztec feathered serpent god Quetzalcoatl is known from several Aztec codices such as the Florentine codex, as well as from the records of the Spanish conquistadors. Quetzalcoatl was a bringer of knowledge, the inventor of books, and associated with the planet Venus. |
The
double symbolism used in its name is considered allegoric to the dual
nature of the deity, where being feathered represents its divine
nature or ability to fly - being a serpent represents its human
nature and wisdom.

In Chinese Taoist scriptures: Lao Tzu, whose Dao-de Jing (Tao Te
Ching) is its most famous scripture, was a legendary figure whose
name means “ancient child”. He dictated the verses of the Dao-de
Jing to a gatekeeper on China’s western frontier, before
disappearing forever into the land of the Immortals.
The
Chinese dragon (Feathered serpent), traditionally symbolizes
potent and auspicious powers, particularly control over water,
(rainfall, hurricanes and floods). The dragon is also a symbol of
power, strength, and good luck for people who are worthy of it.
Because of this belief, the Emperor of China often used the dragon
as a symbol of his imperial power and strength.

The serpent in the garden of Eden:
The Gnostic source states that "the serpent was wiser than
all the animals that were in Paradise." After extolling the
wisdom of the serpent, the treatise casts serious aspersions on
the creator...

Update 2019: Since I first created this blog, there have been new discoveries in the fields of Archaeology, physics and Cosmology which have shed new light on the origins of the human race. It appears that these origins have been kept secret by the ruling elite, in order to keep us enslaved. However there are cosmic events unfolding, that will put an end to their power game, and usher in a new age of enlightenment.
One particular video that helped me gain a deeper insight is available on Youtube: "The Hidden History of Humanity" https://EsotericAstrologer.org
There are many other videos and websites that will give you additional information just follow your nose and expect the unexpected.
Thank you for reading this and have a great day!
